» general
* Respect everyone, including regular and staff members alike.
* Keep fights between characters and only between characters. Don’t hold any grudges against members because of a fight between your character and their character.
* No cussing/swearing will be allowed. Also, please do not talk about any subjects that could be offensive or hurtful to anyone.
* There is no posting requirement on Break. If you can only manage 50 words, that’s fine! If you can write 1,000 words, that’s awesome! This is an all-level roleplay.
* There is no powerplaying or God-moding. If you don’t know what these are, please ask in the Reference board. » characters
* You can have as many characters as you’d like as long as you are active with all of them.
* Before roleplaying, your character must be accepted and put into the Approved board.
* The horses in Break are realistic, meaning they have no abnormal colors/markings/horns/wings/etc.
* Alliances do not exist in Break. There is no light vs. dark feud; however your character can have any personality you chose. If you want a mare that has a “dark” personality, go for it. If you want to create a sub-plot and form your own “dark” or “light” band of horses, that’s totally fine too! » claiming
* Only stallions can claim lands. Sorry ladies!
* To claim a land, simply write a claiming post! Please include the stallion’s name so the board can be modified.
* Stallions can claim mares anywhere they find them. They can be force-claimed if the owner of the mare says it’s okay. Otherwise the mare will choose if she wants to go with your stallion or not.
* Stallions can claim other stallions as members of their herd. Other stallions usually cannot be force-claimed. » breeding
* Absolutely no graphic breeding whatsoever!
* If you want your character to mate with someone else’s character, please go to The Garden and post both parents’ stats. A staff member will tell you if your breeding was successful and the stats of your new foal. » fighting
* Fighting can not just happen anywhere. If your character gets into a fight, it must be taken to the Battle Cove.
* Stallions can fight stallions, mares can fight mares.
* Fighting can be done over a land, a mare, a position, or just because. If it’s for a land or a mare, a staff member will judge the fight to determine who gets what.
* Each character is allowed 3 attacks and 1 dodge. ~ If you feel like there are any rules that should be added, please post your suggestion in the Reference board. Thank you for reading the rules! (:
